What are you going to do:
We - a husband and wife team - run a relationship-focused podcast. Our show has received close to 100,000 organic listens and has excellent reviews, so this is an exciting opportunity for someone looking to get some experience in digital marketing.
What are we offering?
We're offering a 3 month unpaid internship, probably ideal for a student, graduate or if you're looking to gain experience. At the end of that 3 months, we can discuss potential options for going forward.
This internship will give you great experience of SEO, social media asset creation, publishing digital content including WordPress, and an opportunity to be a part of a team making a podcast and all that entails.
We both work in digital marketing, so are happy to offer support and teaching - for example information on SEO, walking you through how to build a website, email marketing etc
Key responsibilities;
- A main task will be transcribing our episodes - these need to be accurate, so good writing skills are essential. The transcribing is very important for SEO. While doing this, you will identify snippets to turn into an audiogram - this is a key strategy in marketing, of turning a piece of content into multiple other pieces to use on various platforms.
- Graphics are also important, and this will be another key responsibility. We also need a more structured social media calendar, which you're welcome to create or collaborate with us on.
- As a fledgling business, we may require additional tasks.
- For example, helping us turn the podcast episodes into videos for YouTube (no editing experience required; these can simply use the show image for the time being).
- Suggest ideas - tell us what you'd like to learn, or suggestions for tactics we should use. We want this to be a collaboration and for you to feel ready to enter a marketing job after the internship.
- This is a flexible role, but we will require consistency and commitment.
