Peale Ward is a 19 bedded ward which is currently caring for patients with potential and actual COVID19 and also to quarantine patients who may have been in contact with COVID19. The Team on Peale are an established team who moved from their specialty into the care of COVID19 patients at the start of the pandemic, and will be continuing this for the foreseeable future. The team on Peale are now looking to expand and have vacancies for 4 Registered Nurses to join us. You will need to be enthusiastic, be able to problem solve, work well as part of a team and with the MDT. You will need to have excellent communication skills and be able to work under pressure.
The post will require you to wear level 3 PPE at certain times and all staff are required to wear a fluid resistant surgical mask throughout their shifts.
The posts are for full time permanent positions; however these could be split to accommodate part time positions.. These posts would be suitable for newly qualified nurses as full training to look after patients with COVID19 and to wear the PPE, will be given as this is an ever changing situation.
