Furniture Delivery Driver
Tom Faulkner is an award winning UK company manufacturing high quality furniture. We have our own workshop in Swindon, and a showroom in Chelsea, London.
We are a growing business, and we are looking to recruit a co-driver to deliver and install our furniture. Our customers expect a high level of care and attention when their furniture is delivered so it is essential that you are impeccably presented, willing and friendly.
Your most important characteristic will be your attitude. We want you to be part of our elite and friendly team contributing to the business, and delivering excellent customer satisfaction.
Requirements
* Excellent verbal and written English language and communication skills
* A full UK (clean) driving licence and experience driving a van essential
* Friendly and well presented at all times, we expect you to look your best when promoting the company.
* You must be physically fit. You will be required to lift heavy furniture.
* A careful approach to handling and assembling furniture.
* Hardworking and very reliable with an attention to detail.
* Prepared to work long days and Saturdays if and when required
* Being a team player across the business and providing back-up where needed is essential. We have a small team and a solid work ethic!
* Computer literate
* Good at prioritising changing and competing demands and tasks
* Calm when trying to solve problems & find solutions
Duties will include:
* Driving the van, delivering & installing furniture into private homes and businesses
* Wrapping furniture
* Preparing and assembling furniture to be loaded
* Loading furniture on t! o the van
* Calling, texting, and emailing customers about their deliveries
* Helping to plan delivery days
* Completing paperwork and updating the delivery schedule
* Keeping vans clean and tidy
Salary £21,000 p/a
20 days annual leave plus bank holidays

Monday-Thursday 07:00-15:15, Friday 07:00-13:30
