Junior Business Analyst
Salary: £24,000 to £26,000 P/A DPE

Overview of the Training Programme
- An 8 week digital Business Analyst Academy of self-paced learning
- The training is supported by an expert trainer
- Includes additional CPD and soft skills training
About the final role placement
Working across a range of clients you will have the opportunity to work with our customers who are looking to develop new strategies and improved business models. In a customer facing role, you will work collaboratively with clients to ensure that they are well positioned to deliver on their business goals and generate sustainable growth.
Key responsibilities include:
- Creating a detailed business analysis, outlining problems, opportunities and solutions
- Budgeting and forecasting
- Planning and monitoring
- Financial modelling
- Variance Analysis
- Pricing
- Reporting
- Defining business requirements and reporting them back to stakeholders
The candidate should be:
- Proactive and self-motivated with the ability to work using their own initiative
- A strong communicator able to interact confidently with senior management
- Comfortable presenting complex subjects in an accessible way
- Possess good time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines
- Attention to detail and high-quality standards relating to documentation, processes and the control environment is expected
- Essential Technical Skills include: The ability to assimilate, translate and communicate business concepts and requirements
- Competence in MS Office products
- Experience working with a variety of project or programme environments (waterfall, scrum or agile etc.)
- Experience as a Business Analyst in the financial services sector or the investment banking industry is desirable
