The Job

Now is a fantastic time to join us an Assistant Store Manager, with new stores opening across the country. Our new concept store at the Reading Moto Services (Westbound) is sure to be an exciting challenge!

The key responsibilities of this role will include:

• To deliver sale and profit targets through effective management of the customer experience, colleagues, sales processes, shrinkage, stock, security, administration, costs and health and safety.
• To help build and maintain a motivated team and develop colleagues through training, development and coaching.
• To ensure the store team delivers customer service excellence at all times, to build loyalty, repeat visits and attract new customers.

You will be passionate about helping people stop smoking and/or about vaping, and have previous experience in the vaping or e-smoking industry or a good understanding of the subject - or be a very fast learner!

You will have:

• Previous experience (at least one year, preferably) in a successful retail sales role in a Store Manager/Assistant Manager/Supervisory capacity
• A proven track record of customer service excellence, and the ability to interact with and advise customers in a professional and confident manner.
• Good interpersonal skills, with the ability to work well in a team and to lead, motivate colleagues to deliver high standards.
• Willingess to go the extra mile to secure a sale, and use your initiative to deliver targets.

There are no public transport links to this location, so you will either have a driving licence and a car, or an alternative reliable means of travelling to the Moto Westbound Services at Reading. On site parking is available.
