GMMH – Registered Nurse

 

Job Title and Grade: Registered Nurse – RN03 – Band 5

Copeland is a 15 bed rehabilitation ward that offers long term recovery focused care in a secure environment.

 

The post holder will contribute to the assessment of service users and help deliver collaborative personalised interventions that are service user, carer, and quality focused. Through their interventions they will deliver high level, quality care and evidence-based interventions within a multi-disciplinary team. The post holder will be responsible for delivering and maintaining high standards of clinical care within the wider team.

The role focuses upon collaboratively enabling and assisting service users to meet daily health, social care and wellbeing needs, in line with personal recovery goals, and facilitating engagement with mainstream services. Applicants will have a proven track record of motivating and engaging service users. They will be able to clearly articulate how recovery principles assist in enabling social reintegration, in particular the use of Recovery Star, and must be able to demonstrate this within mental health on their application form, in order to be considered for interview

Pay Rates (hourly):  Days: £13.79 Saturdays/Nights: £17.93 Sundays/Bank Hols: £22.07

Shift Patterns: Monday to Sunday – 4 shifts per week, mixture of 7.5hrs x 2 and 11:15hs x 2 for days plus night rotation of 11:15hrs

Essential Criteria;

To apply for this post, you will hold:

  • Nursing Qualification for RMN Status
  • Knowledge of working with patients experiencing severe and enduring mental illness
  • Registered Nurse with current registration (Mental Health)
  • Experience of conducting clinical assessments including risk assessments
  • Experience of medication management
