Bank Nurse - Intensive Care/High Dependency Unit

The Hillingdon Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust provides acute and specialist services from two sites to a local population of 350,000. We are now seeking an experienced intensive care nurses to join our friendly and professional Intensive Care/High dependency unit via the Temporary Staffing Bank.

We are a general intensive care unit delivering care to a diverse population, as we are the main hospital serving Heathrow airport. We admit around 500 medical and surgical patients a year requiring; Ventilation, Cardiac monitoring, inotropic support and Haemofiltration. We are an active member of the North West London Critical Care Network (NWLCCN). Successful applicants must have the following:

  • Relevant experience as a band 5 staff nurse in ITU
  • Successful completion of a Critical Care Course
  • A Mentorship qualification

Hourly Rate Information:

Basic Hourly Rate - Dependant on Experience £13.79 - £15.65

HCAS - £2.06 - £2.34

Day - £15.86 - £18.00

Night Shift/ Saturday - £19.99 - £22.70

Sunday/ Bank Holiday - £24.13 - £27.39

* Holiday Pay (WTD at 12.07%) is added to Basic Pay, HCAS and Unsocial / Night / Saturday / Sunday Enhancements
