Our client's network of partners include directly authorised institutions that work with high street retail and market leading investment banks including HSBC, Barclays, UBS and JP Morgan, as well as intermediaries who employ hundreds of Stock Brokers nationwide.
As a result of increased growth and expansion our client is currently seeking applications for a Trainee Stock Broker to come on board and join retail banks, brokerages or financial companies within their network.

The Role
A Stockbroker is a mixed and varied role; tasks could include market research, recommending to your clients which shares to buy or sell to get them the best return on their investment and managing investment portfolios.
Business to business or retail sales experience would be an advantage but not compulsory as no experience is required, the right candidate must have a professional approach, be well presented, with good communication as well as be CISI or equivalent qualified or if unqualified be open to completing the CISI certification upon commencement as certification is required to be authorised. Your Key Attributes
- Some experience interacting directly with external clients
- Keen interest in financial markets
- CISI / CFA qualification or commitment to starting study ideally towards a CISI qualification
- A positive, motivated, can-do attitude and desire to work in a highly team oriented environment
- You are committed to excellence in your work and maintain high professional and ethical standards
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- You have strong analytical and numerical skills that put you at ease with financial data
- You are results-driven, perform well under pressure and against tight deadlines
- You articulate complex ideas simply and summarize them effectively
