The Berkshire NHS Foundation Trust have an exciting opportunity available which will allow the successful candidate to gain regular shifts and valuable experience within a unique environment. The Sexual Health Service based in the Garden Clinic in Slough arerecruiting for a Registered Nurse to join the team for a full-time post (however,part-time support will be considered for the right candidate).
The Garden Clinic offers a range of services including testing and treatment for sexually transmitted infections, including HIV, and contraception services. You'll be part of afriendly and dynamic team who are committed to the professional development of their staff.
Locations covered: This post is working at the Garden Clinic in Slough but you will be required to travel to and work in locality clinics in Bracknell, Windsor and Maidenhead.
Band 6 – Example Rate
Day Rate - £20.96 per hour
Night/Sat Rate - £26.94 per hour
Sun/Bank Holiday Rate - £32.93 per hour
The post-holder will be:
Committed to a high standard of service delivery
Confident and calm under pressure when working in abusy clinical environment
Able to work flexibly and show willingness to work across locality clinics
In possession of good communication skills
Able to work both independently and as part of a team
Open minded in nature and not judgemental
Able to work in a highly confidential environment
It is expected that the post-holder will possess a qualification in SRH and have practised for two years or more in a sexual health setting or a related service.
Applicants will need to be a car driver with the use of a car for work purposes.
