An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and motivated Band 3 Senior Clinical Support Worker to join the Leeds Clinical Research Facility. We are looking for a dynamic, enthusiastic individual to join our expanding team.
This post will encompass providing direct clinical care to patients participating in clinical trials, ensuring high standards of clinical care delivery, patient safety and patient satisfaction. The role includes venepuncture, ECG, monitoring vital signs and laboratory sample processing. There is a well established induction and training programme available and an opportunity to develop your career within Clinical Research.
The Leeds Clinical Research Facility is a 17 bedded flagship research facility delivering a large and active portfolio of transitional and clinical research, which covers development of biomarkers, early phase trials and Advanced Therapies. The portfolio includes industry sponsored, academic and NIHR studies covering a wide range of specialities which include Oncology, Haematology, Gastroenterology, Endocrinology and Neurosciences. The role encompasses working with various Multidisciplinary Teams, both internally and externally, Sponsors and Clinical Trials Units nationally and internationally.
The LCRF focus is on early stages of testing new treatments, new techniques and new devices, to potentially benefit patients.
