As an air hostess, your main priority is the safety and satisfaction of passengers, checking tickets and documents, directing them to their designated seats and being welcomed. Your other responsibilities as an air hostess are to practice safety procedures and emergency protocols. Keep crew and passengers safe when on the ground and in the air. You must communicate effectively with passengers and colleagues when explaining emergency procedures during flights. The needs and wants of your passengers are a crucial part of your job serving food and beverages during the flight. Depending on the flight durations, short trips only provide snacks and drinks. Whilst long international flights provide meals, drinks and snacks several times. Passengers are a vital aspect of the job air hostesses must take inventory of the plane's stock, including duty-free items, food and beverages, and comfort items for the passengers. After the flight, you ensure that passengers leave the plane safely. Once passengers have left, you make a report on the flights, with details of incidents, stock levels and equipment damage.
