Our Haulfryn family has a fantastic opportunity for a full time Systems Technician to join our team.
This role will help identify, scope, prioritise and then work cross-functionally (within Haulfryn and with third party vendors) to deliver a portfolio of digital and technical initiatives to improve customer experience and grow revenue. This role has a regional remit and will cover parks in North Wales and North of England hence ability to travel is required. Weekend work is also required.

What Will You Do
- Work onsite and help provide 7-day technical support cover for the parks working 5 days per week/40 hours per week including weekend cover
- Manage and carry out the day-to-day configuration changes within the organisation’s EPOS and other transactional systems
- Triage incident, service request and change tickets from end users
- Work on second line support tickets, engaging vendors and other external resources where necessary
- Create training materials/sessions and deliver training for key systems, both remotely and in person
- Collaborate on change projects, understanding the organisation’s business processes at a detailed level
- Liaise with vendors of software/hardware/infrastructure solutions to arrange installs and upgrades
- Procure software and hardware in line with the organisation’s procurement policy
- Manage the deployment and return of end user hardware
- Take part in the testing of new system and software releases
- Provide hypercare support during projects’ post-launch optimisation phase
- Uphold our data security standards by encouraging compliance as part of the day-to-day and playing a role in internal audits
- Proactively monitor key systems to ensure reliability, putting in automated monitoring where practical
- Through working with team members on our parks and Support Office, proactively identify where processes can be optimised and feed this back to the Head of Technology and operational managers

Our Haulfryn family has a fantastic opportunity for a full time Systems Technician to join our team.
The Systems Technician will provide technical support to parks & undertake technical administration tasks (basic network configuration, azure/O365 tenant management, machine imaging etc). This role will also support with general administration such as ticket triage/management, procurement, reporting, tracking & managing vendor service level agreements.
This position will cover The Warren and other North Wales parks. The work pattern will be 40 hours, 5 days a week and will include at least one weekend day.

What Will You Do
- Provide proactive technical support to the parks
- Management and implementation of project deliverables.
- Provide mission critical support to park infrastructure.
- Manage the hardware deployment process from purchase to configuration to deployment.
- Responsible for the configuring, monitoring, patching and tuning of park systems.
- Provide proactive, effective and timely systems administration.
- Management of incidents, requests, changes and problems.
- Provide technical expertise and be responsible for the management of all assigned issues.
- Work as a point of escalation for junior members of staff.
- Works a technical lead in relation to any episodes of incident management.
- Be able to work to and hit agreed upon SLAs.
- Manage existing vendors to support the delivery of initiatives
- Act as point of escalation for in-life faults

What Will You Bring
- Proven use of structured analysis methods [Essential]
- First-hand experience of IT infrastructure and networking, databases and low-code platforms such as PowerApps and the MS Office 365 platform. [Essential]
- Commercially literate [Essential]
- Systems hardware diagnostic, fault finding and resolution, able to work hands-on [Essential]
- Experience of deploying and configuring some of the following: Microsoft Azure, Microsoft Server 2016/2019, Microsoft Desktop Environments, Office 365 & Intune, Experience, and knowledge of PowerShell scripting. [Essential]
- Numerate and familiar with the use of analysis tools, e.g. Google Analytics, ClickTale, PowerBI is essential. Basic SQL and data manipulation using some form of programming language (e.g. Python/Pandas/.NET) would be an advantage.
- Good working understanding of common digital technologies [Essential]
- Partner / vendor engagement and management [Essential]
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Compelling presentation skills [Essential]
- Experience as a “broad” systems engineer, support technician or IT Manager [Essential]
- Experience within retail or hospitality [Desirable]
- Hands-on development will not be required, however familiarity with the capabilities of modern front-end frameworks (VueJS, Angular etc), native & hybrid app platforms (Swift, Kotlin, ReactJS). [Desirable]
- Hands on experience is not required, however a broad understanding of modern I&O and delivery disciplines would be an advantage, e.g. DevOps, Test-Driven Development, containerization, cloud would be an advantage. [Desirable]
- Recent experience of a B2C industry or, ideally, hospitality. [Desirable]
