After School Club leaders needed to run primary science clubs in Bath

We are looking for enthusiastic individuals with experience working with primary-aged children to run our science after school clubs. Sessions are great fun and may include launching rockets, making slime or building robots!

This job offers flexibility with the option to run clubs between 2 to 5 afternoons per week. You will be given all the equipment and training you need to run the sessions. You will work weekly at the same schools each term, with an age range of 4-11 years.

Each after school club typically lasts for 1 hour, but you will be paid to also cover the time taken to set up and pack away. Typically sessions run from 3.15-4.15 though some timings vary slightly, making this a great option for those working in schools or studying during the day, looking for extra work outside of school hours. Schools we work with are based in Bristol, Bath, Swindon, Wiltshire and the surrounding areas, and we aim to give you schools closest to where you are located.

You will need to be positive, have good initiative and be confident talking to a group of 20 children, ensuring they're having fun!

Pay starts at £25 per club

Own transport (car) is essential but full mileage is also paid.

The ability to pass an enhanced DBS check and experience working with children in the target age range is essential. You must not apply for this job if you are on the barred list or have been disqualified from working with children.
