1909 is a boxing clothing brand that marries the grit and determination of the boxing ring with the sophistication of luxury streetwear. We are partnered with a major boxing platform and there will be many opportunities to work with professional athletes.
1909 is named after the year Boxing News was founded. Boxing News embodies boxing heritage, dating back more than 100 years. We are looking for an editing/social expert, or someone who is just looking to prove that they've got the skills to orchestrate social posts alongside big platforms. The content on the 1909 page will sometimes be collaberation posts with Boxing News and other major boxing platforms so the content/strategy will need to be in line with both luxury streetwear and the boxing worlds.

This is an unpaid intern role - but due to the infancy nature of the business, there will be a big chance to secure a long-term role within the business upon impressing the boxing/merchandise teams. There will be opportunities to work alongside professional athletes and do some great portfolio work if 1909 isn't a long term aspiration - but we hope it will be! Work will not be everyday but as we continue to build the platform and the presence of the brand then work may increase. We do have an office in London Bridge/Borough area so there will be flexibility to come in as much as you want, if that's your preference. Ideally, our perfect intern would be able to edit and use socials at a good level. Videography skills and overall content strategy are bonuses!
