We are looking for a Talent Development Advisor to join our team. This is a L&D job based in Andover which offers hybrid working and a great environment to learn and grow.

Stannah is a manufacturing and engineering company, with 2400 employees UK and Globally. We are going through an exciting time of growth. The Talent Development department is undergoing significant transformation. This is to modernise workflows, and ways of working. As part of this we will be implementing a Global LMS. It is an exciting time to join as we set ourselves up for the new system.

The Talent Development Advisor will interact with all parts of business, helping to develop its talent. This is a great training job, working in a small team who are focused on providing an agile in-house training service to the business.

The Talent Development Advisor is responsible for identifying and implementing appropriate learning solutions. Working with Managers and Senior Stakeholders across the group, the Advisor will help to grow a learning culture. This role allows the successful candidate to think creatively and implement new ideas. Working alongside an existing Talent Development Advisor, reporting to the Head of Talent Management.

We are looking for an Advisor who has a background in learning and development, or HR, with a strong understanding of instructional design. Experience working with schools / colleges / universities with STEM activities, work experience, graduate schemes or apprenticeships would be an advantage. Global experience, or working within a manufacturing company would be a benefit.

We are looking for LinkedIn Learning experience. You must be able to set up learning journeys, create bespoke content and report on outcomes.

We are looking for a person who has a flexible approach to work. A lot of the work is on Teams, as well as face to face in the office. The role provides an opportunity to travel to various UK sites.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee effective learning activities, working with Managers and Employees to support personal learning and team development
  • Create learning materials using software packages including the use of AI tools
  • Maintain and provide technical guidance on the LinkedIn Learning portal
  • Work with HRBPs and line managers, set up appropriate learning journeys and bespoke content within the LinkedIn Learning portal
  • Manage the coordination of Talent Management schemes, including Management Development Programmes, from inception to evaluation
  • Liaise with HRBPs, Talent Acquisition and line managers to promote Apprenticeships, T-Levels and other Government initiatives
  • Liaise with line managers and training providers, to support activities related to the Apprenticeship Levy
  • Partner with line managers, to support Graduate Management Programmes

Requirements:

  • Relevant L&D / Talent Development experience is essential
  • CIPD or recognised industry qualification is preferred
  • High level of Excel and MS Office Products including Teams is essential
