Position Overview:

We are looking for a Finance Business Partner who will play a vital role in supporting the growth of key business lines. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing effective commercial support to the Aftermarket, Digital, and Supply Chain departments. This will involve using detailed analytics and strong management information to work closely with business leaders to identify opportunities, risks, operational improvements, and necessary actions.

Job Description:

Major Job Functions

  • Conduct commercial performance reviews in collaboration with Commercial Business Partners and support with monthly reporting. Collaborate with General Managers on setting segment budgets/forecasts and development of financial solutions to maximise the profitability of the business.

  • Support achievement of strategic objectives through strong business partnering, provision of robust management information and applying best in class advisory practices.

  • Provide high-quality financial support and guidance to the business based on a commercial understanding of the market, the divisional objectives, their growth drivers, and key success criteria.

  • Present monthly results at Segment/Commercial Team meetings as appropriate, highlighting areas of concern and facilitating resolution (as above).

  • Identification and management of key risks – both on a project and Segment basis

  • Act as a catalyst for change and challenge decision-making based on sound financial and commercial reasoning.

  • Liaison with relevant stakeholders in the negotiation, monitoring and conclusion of key activities

  • Experience in a similar role

  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to disseminate to finance and non-finance employees 

  • Well-organised, ability to hit deadlines and handle large amounts of data

Education and Experience

  • Fully qualified accountant with 3-5 years post-qualification experience.
