Join us as a Pricing Lead

  • We’re looking for someone to lead on pricing related issues and provide advice and guidance in support of the business
  • You’ll play a key role in leveraging advanced analytical tools along with a wealth of data and insights to optimise pricing strategy at scale and pace
  • This is an opportunity to act as the primary contact  between the team and other business functions in the bank to ensure strong and seamless communication

What you'll do

We’re looking for someone to define the shape of and drive the delivery of the strategic plan. You’ll coordinate and develop Retail pricing work and lead key projects. This will involve being at various meetings across the function, including with senior stakeholders. You'll leverage your expertise to lead the pricing strategy for existing products and help create new product propositions, acting as the key contact on pricing matters with senior stakeholders across Retail functions.

You’ll also be:

  • Engaging with the business heads and function partners to actively manage product pricing
  • Collaborating closely with cross functional-teams to develop and implement optimised pricing strategies for mortgages, loans, cards, and savings
  • Fostering a high-performance pricing team by providing guidance, support, and mentorship, to encourage professional growth and ensure your team have the necessary tools and environment to excel
  • Producing advice and guidance for teams on pricing options
  • Providing insight and guidance on internal and external pricing benchmarks
  • Providing input to balance sheet, capital, sector and asset class budgeting and forecasting

The skills you'll need

To succeed in this role, you’ll need industry experience gained in a pricing  and commercial environment. As you’ll be engaging with senior stakeholders on a daily basis, we’ll look to you to bring strong communication and interpersonal skills.

You’ll also be expected to have:

  • Experience and knowledge of Pricing Principles including fairness and risk-based-pricing, as well as good knowledge of Balance Sheet, P&L and Returns
  • Excellent analytical skills, able to extract insights and identify opportunities from complex data to inform pricing decisions
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to maximise resources, prioritise activities and balance conflicting demands
  • Demonstrated leadership skills, with a history of successfully leading and coaching high-performance teams
