We are currently recruiting for a Needle Exchange Pharmacy Coordinator to work in our Wakefield Inspiring Integrated Substance Use Service, where you’ll have the chance to make a real difference to the lives of the people we support who are experiencing difficulties from drugs and alcohol usage.

To assist in delivering TP’s Substance use strategy by planning and providing high quality, innovative care which reflects our person centred values and the high levels of ambition we have for the recovery of the individuals for whom we provide support.
•To provide service users with appropriate needle replacement and harm reduction information.
•To co-ordinate the Needle Exchange provision across the district.
•Train and induct new staff members to be competent to work within the Needle Exchange.
•Regulate the service’s needle exchange and Naloxone/Nyxoid stock provision, keeping appropriate records in line with budgetary requirements.
•Representing the service at Regional and National Harm Reduction Forums.
•Leading on harm reduction initiatives with staff.
•Linking in with other providers in the district i.e. Street Scene, Pharmacy-based Needle Exchanges
