This is a full-time permanent job, you will be based at our Head Office in Andover with the flexibility to work remotely based on business needs. Candidates must be located within a commutable distance to Andover.

As a Product Designer, you’ll work closely with engineers in our Innovation and Design team to develop and deliver creative solutions that meet customer needs and surpass industry standards. This exciting position involves end-to-end project work, from market research to delivering final product designs.

Our ideal candidate will be looking to progress their career in Product Design. Ideally you will have had exposure to product design either through your education or work experience. You will need strong industrial design expertise and a solid understanding of mechanism design and other engineering disciplines.

This job requires someone who works to a high technical standard, is capable of independent decision-making, and can effectively communicate complex technical information across all levels of the business.

Product Designer Job Responsibilities:

  • Conduct market and customer research to inform product development.
  • Implement and execute the Innovation Road Map.
  • Realise design solutions based on the Stannah Design Language.
  • Manage day-to-day project tasks and evaluate design concepts.
  • Identify and mitigate technical risks using structured approaches.
  • Conduct ergonomic and user testing, generating detailed technical reports.
  • Collaborate with all business functions to ensure product requirements are met.
  • Provide design support to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Assist with time and resource planning and communicate technical information to sponsors and stakeholders.

Product Designer Job Requirements:

  • Degree qualified or equivalent within engineering discipline is desirable
  • Previous experience using 3D CAD software
