The Role

Our Customer Services Supervisor acts as the Duty Manager ensuring the smooth running of our Audley village. You’ll supervise a small team to ensure that our Owners and External Customers have the highest quality of service and experience.

You will ensure the team adheres to legislative requirements such as COSHH, Fire safety, Health & Safety and Safeguarding of our owners. You will maintain high standards of comfort, cleanliness and hygiene throughout the reception, bistro and customer areas.

You will set and maintain the highest standards of dress appearance and be equipped to deal with sudden employee shortages being able to deputise in any job capacity. Deal with complaints in a warm and empathetic way, as necessary. You’ll also have the opportunity to be involved in the creation and running of regular hospitality events at the village.

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Experience of working as a Duty Manager in a customer facing role (preferably).
  • Ideally, food and beverage management experience in a high quality hospitality environment.
  • Knowledge of cash handling procedures, stock, wastage and par level control, rotas and unexpected situations.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Self-motivated and driven by standards and sales opportunities.
  • Excellent organisation skills with the ability to prioritise and produce creative solutions.
  • Experience dealing with customers on a regular basis with the ability to influence and liaise with people at all levels.
  • Ability to deal with queries in an efficient and diplomatic way.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
  • Hands on and flexible approach to daily duties and shift patterns, in order to be able to carry out a variety of tasks in line with the needs of the village.
