As a specialist summer camp counselor at Camp New York, you’ll play a key role in providing fun and engaging activities for campers. You’ll serve as an activity leader in an area where you have expertise, making this position ideal for those with additional qualifications or extensive experience.
Be a Leader This Summer
Specialist summer camp counselors hold a crucial position, as you’ll be expected to lead or assist in managing a specific camp area. You might even have the opportunity to develop and implement programs for that area. For example, if you’re a Level 2 Soccer Coach, a Qualified Lifeguard, or have achieved Grade 8 in Music or Performing Arts, this role will help enhance your skills and experience.
As an activity specialist, your summer at Camp New York will closely resemble that of a camp counselor. You’ll share all the same facilities and live in cabins with the children, fostering a strong community.
In addition to running sessions, you’ll have plenty of time to enjoy everything camp has to offer. Use your free time to score some penalties, sink a few three-pointers, or simply relax and soak up the summer sun!
