Production Operative Job- Andover- Apply Now to work for Stannah

We have a fantastic opportunity for a Production Operative to join our Straight rail team, based at our brand new site in Andover.

This factory job is to work within a production line, working to standard operating procedures. You will be building straight rails for customer orders and ensuring daily targets are met.

We are looking for candidates who has worked within a modern manufacturing environment. Also you need to be highly proactive and adaptable, working towards continuous improvement.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure all operations are carried out in accordance to Standard Operating procedures.
  • Lifting heavy rails for different order requirements
  • Participate when required in Continuous Improvement activities, to identify both product and process improvements
  • Ensure that lean manufacturing processes (5s) are followed within the department
  • Help to achieve 'right first time' targets

Requirements:

  • Experience in modern manufacturing environments
  • Use of hand operated tools.
  • Good understanding of health and safety principles and procedures
