Amazon TA is looking for an VAT Compliance Analyst, EMEA VAT compliance in London

Job description

The responsibility of the candidate include
• Assist with indirect tax registrations across various jurisdictions;
• Assist in the documentation and improvement of indirect tax processes;
• Assist in month-end indirect tax account reconciliations;
• Provide internal and external audit support, including data analysis;
• Provide indirect tax compliance support (prepare VAT compliance returns) and collaborate with colleagues throughout the business including Accounting, A/P, A/R, and Finance;
• Participate in cross-functional projects
• Manage indirect projects on compliance, controller- ship and tech debt

About the team
EMEA VAT compliance team, allocated to ESS compliance with possibility to relocate to other geo within the team upon the need

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- Bachelor's degree
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office products and applications at an advanced level
- Experience working in a large public accounting firm or multi-national corporate tax department

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- 1+ years of tax, finance or a related analytical field experience
