Reliable and enthusiastic Assistant Capoeira Instructor wanted to join our small friendly team. Assisting the instructor to deliver weekly Capoeira classes for primary school age children from 7th January 2025 onwards.
Weekly Term Time Only
Tuesday 3:15pm - 5:15pm
‘Arts Afterschool Ltd’ is a small organisation providing high-quality afterschool provision for primary school age children.
The Lead Capoeira instructor will be provided by The Art of Movement
The Role
● The role involves assisting the Capoeria Instructor with the delivery of the weekly session, for example, taking a small group of children aside to work on an age-appropriate adaptation or game.
● Look after the general welfare of the children, following our safe guarding policy at all times.
● Meet at the local primary school and help walk the children to the hall.
Requirements
● Our ideal candidate is proficient in a martial art, preferably Capoeira. Alternatively, good athleticism and rhythm with an enthusiasm to learn about Capoeira.
● Experience of working with children is preferable.
● Comfortable and confident managing a group of children.
● Reliable - it is vital to be on time to collect children from school each week.
● You will need an enhanced DBS check and safeguarding level 2 training, however,
we can provide this for the right candidate, training is approx 2-3 hours online.
