Role Overview
As an Ambassador for the OakNorth - F4S programme, you'll represent your university and help recruit industry volunteers from local scale-up businesses to inspire school students to explore their career options.
* Receive an honorarium for your contributions while gaining valuable work experience

Key Responsibilities
1. Recruit Volunteers
Serve as a representative of the OakNorth - F4S programme at your university, attracting and recruiting peers and local scale-up company volunteers to mentor students.
2. Build a Student Community
Engage with fellow university students and create a community of individuals passionate about mentoring and career development.
3. Collaborate with Ambassadors Across the UK
Work closely with other Student Ambassadors from 18 universities across six UK cities to share ideas, successes, and best practices, contributing to a national impact.
4. Volunteer and Mentor
Take part in virtual or in-person mentoring sessions, sharing your personal career journey with school students

Qualifications and Skills
1. Education
You must be enrolled in a university programme that requires Maths as an entry qualification.
2. Excellent Communication
As the key point of contact between OakNorth - F4S and your university, you'll need exceptional interpersonal and communication skills to engage effectively with peers, teachers, and community volunteers.
3. Passion for Education and Mentorship
A genuine desire to inspire and empower school students to make informed decisions about their education and career paths is at the heart of this role.
4. Location
We are currently recruiting University Ambassadors in six regions:
● London ● Manchester
● Birmingham ● Bristol
● Newcastle ● Leeds
You should reside in or be able to easily access schools and educators in one of these regions.
