Inpatient Bookings Team Leader

Location: Renacres Hospital, Ormskirk

Hours: 37.5 hours per week, full-time, Monday to Friday 09:00-17:00

Salary: Depending on experience + Benefits

The role:
We currently have a great new opportunity for an experienced Inpatient Bookings Team Leader to join our team at Renacres Hospital, based in Ormskirk. You will be leading the Inpatient and Daycase Booking Team to provide a first-class service when are listing patients for admission.

As a Inpatient Bookings Team Leader some of the duties will be, managing a small group of inpatient bookings, booking admission appointments and managing a small team.

Skills & Attributes:

  • Knowledge and experience of Electronic Patient Records system (Maxims or other)
  • Knowledge and experience of patient bookings and schedule management
  • Experience of working as part of a team and with the consultant body
  • Experience of dealing with large volumes of work with a degree of interruption
  • Excellent organisational and planning skills
  • Excellent customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to manage conflicting priorities and work to tight deadlines and targets.
  • Ability to manage a varied, unpredictable, and demanding workload.
  • Ability to work under own initiative.
  • Ability to work to a high level.
  • Be positive and even tempered in the workplace
  • Focuses own and others actions to achieve goals
  • Supports the Ramsay culture; contributing to and fostering a positive working team environment
