Medical Secretary Team Leader
Location: Renacres Hospital, Ormskirk
Hours: 37.5 hours per week, full-time
Salary: Depending on experience + Benefits

The Role:
We currently have a great new opportunity for an experienced Medical Secretary Team Leader to join our team at Renacres Hospital, based in Ormskirk.
As the Medical Secretary Team Leader you will have day-to-day management of the Team. Your main task will be supporting our consultants with fast and precise typing and record creation which is so important to the smooth running of patient management. You will be expected to multi-task across a range of secretarial duties; offer good judgement in escalating issues, prioritising jobs, highly accurate audio typing, as these tasks all play an important part of your role. You’ll be valued for your skills and expertise and have the chance to build on them through our Ramsay Academy.
What you will bring with you:
Excellent IT skills and ability to type at speed whilst maintaining accuracy
Audio typing experience – desirable not essential
Experience of multi-tasking and working to strict deadlines
Excellent verbal and written communication
High attention to detail
Experience of managing teams - desirable not essential
Background knowledge or experience with medical terminology, ideally with a knowledge of orthopaedics – highly desirable
