The role: Cyber Broker 

• We are looking for a dynamic and proactive individual to join our Cyber Reinsurance Treaty team.
• As a Reinsurance Broker, you will need to be able to maintain strong client and reinsurer relationships for a large portfolio of assigned accounts in order to ensure the appropriate level of service to all clients.
• You will also in time develop or help to develop new business with the help from the senior leadership team and your fellow senior brokers/producers.
• The role is based in our London office (City) in Walbrook.

The responsibilities: 

• Maintain, process and manage a large existing book of Cyber clients
• Marketing complex reinsurance business to carriers, on behalf of the existing portfolio
• Developing and maintaining a network of carrier and/or broker relationships. 
• Identifies and analyzes client exposures to recommend and/or design risk solutions. 
• Identifies appropriate carriers, sends requests, negotiates favorable reinsurance quotes and prepares recommendations for the client.
• Revenue generating responsibility. 
• Experience and judgment used to plan and accomplish assigned tasks and goals.

The requirements: 

• Reinsurance client-facing experience ideally, either from a broker of carrier background but we will consider candidates from an traditional insurance background as well
• Ideally from a Cyber background within Reinsurance but we are once again keeping an open mind and will look at candidates from different products/lines
• We are looking at candidates with either a couple of years of experience as well as more experienced professionals as we are business agile and can accommodate.
• Excellent sales capabilities
• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
• Appetite for learning our market and selling risk solutions
