What you will do

As Mergers and Acquisitions Manager, you will be working to acquire small and medium businesses across the UK & Ireland and wider EMEA region within the Buildings Technology Service & Solutions Industry.
How you will do it
- Source and negotiate all acquisition targets and liaise with vendors.
- Establish a list of targets, cultivating relationships with the target companies, establishing the deal hypothesis
- Prepare the Business Case, create financial models and supporting valuations. Present findings to executive leadership and strong communication skills.
- Arrange required due diligence work and participate as necessary.
- Coordinate with all key stakeholders, including approvals and communications across multiple functions and stakeholders.
- Project management of the M&A process for small deals in the geography.
- Work closing with the Lead Program Manager on the new acquisition integration programs, taking a more active role where required
What we look for
Required
- Mergers and Acquisition experience as demonstrated by deal volume
- Experience in M&A project management including working with multiple stakeholders including, Finance, HR, legal and strategic integration team.
- People/Function Management: Excellent interpersonal skills required
- Excellent negotiation skills – ability to quickly build rapport, credibility, and trust at a Senior Level
- High level of interactions with target company owners as well as multiple finance and operational business partners
- Strong financial modelling, excel, word and PowerPoint. Executive communication and presentation skills required
- Minimum Preference Experience: Finance experience, depending on academic background with experience in Merger and Acquisitions within a service-based industry

- Relevant degree or professional qualification MBA/CIMA / ACA / ACCA
