Job description
We are offering a 5-hours/week freelance contract for 6 months (3 months trial period). The contract can be renewed after the summer holidays if successful.
Responsibilities include:
- looking for potential customers in the automotive and aerospace industry (B to B)
- following up via email + phone
- closing deals
The work can be done from home: A professional skype account, email account and online database access will be available to the student.
You will be a part of a young international team working from France, Belgium, Cz republic...
Conditions:
- Freelance contract
- Fixed £8 P/H + Bonus on operations
- 5-hours/week freelance contract (GBP 40 / month)
- Flexible hours: You are free to organize your schedule as you wish every week as long as the 5 hours are completed.
- 6 months period (3 months trial period)
- Hours of training paid as working hours (about 5-7 hours)
Details of the assignment:
- Call car manufacturers in UK as well as their first-tier suppliers
- Find the decision makers and their contact information
- Introduce our specialized air freight solutions worldwide
- Reply and close the deal when they call back for a contract.
- Help on operations if requested (no logistic knowledge required, you will work under the supervision of a senior manager)
Type of calls: consultative sales (no cold calls)
Other tasks: translations of articles to English, UK website, SEO articles, English newsletter
Candidates & Skills required:
- English Native student
- Bachelor degree minimum
- Business/sales/marketing orientated
- Interest or studies in the field of Industry/Automotive
- Available 5 hours a week minimum for the next 6 months (break for summer holidays possible)
- Looking to gain professional experience from this assignment
- Willing to work in an international environment (colleagues from Belgium, France, Poland, and Czech Republic).
- French language: not required but could be an asset for a student willing to practice his/her French with native speakers.
