Role Overview:
We are seeking an IT Solution Architect - Supply Chain Management (SCM) to join the Team in Bristol.
As an IT Solution Architect you will be responsible for architecting and designing an IT solution using commercial fleet management, supply chain management, ERP, business intelligence, web portal and integration with 3PL systems using EDI capabilities.
This role will assure that the solution architecture can meet the key project functional and non-functional requirements identified for a UK MOD fleet management programme. You will provide support to the Head of Architect/Enterprise Architect on a variety of design decisions including solution evaluation and selection, buy vs. Build vs reuse questions, early-phase project estimates, platform selection and technical designs. Ensuring compliance with all architecture directions and frameworks including technical, security, and regulatory standards. Supporting customer and stakeholder meetings and technical discussions.
The IT Solution Architect will lead the solution development for a project; through initial high-level technical design, into the detailed design phase, through the development lifecycle and into sustainment of the solution.

Logistics Commodities & Services Transformation (LCST) Programme
for the UK Ministry of Defence is a critical effort to enhance and improve the UK’s defence supply chain.
