Job description

We are seeking an experienced and driven Security Distribution Channel Manager to oversee, develop, and grow our security product distribution network across the UK. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining relationships with our distribution partners, achieving sales targets, and ensuring efficient operations within the distribution channel. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong communication, sales, and organizational skills.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Channel Management and Development:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key distribution partners.

  • Develop and implement strategies to optimize channel performance and meet business goals.

2. Sales and Revenue Generation:

  • Collaborate with distributors to drive sales and achieve revenue targets.

  • Monitor and analyze sales performance metrics, providing regular updates and reports.

  • Identify and capitalize on new market opportunities.

3. Training and Support:

  • Provide distributors with sales training.

  • Ensure distributors have the tools and resources necessary to succeed in selling our products.

4. Strategic Planning and Execution:

  • channel marketing strategies to increase brand awareness and market penetration.

  • Work closely with line manager & team members to align strategies.

  • Conduct competitor analysis and market research to stay ahead of industry trends.

6. Customer and Partner Engagement:

  • Act as a point of contact for distributors, addressing queries and concerns promptly.

  • Represent the company at trade shows, industry events, and networking opportunities.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Proven experience in channel management, distribution, or sales, ideally within the security products industry.

  • Strong understanding of the UK security market and distribution landscape.

  • Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills.

  • Ability to analyze data, create actionable insights, and drive results.

  • Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and capable of working independently or as part of a team.

  • Proficiency in CRM systems, Microsoft Office Suite, and other sales tools.
