Area Sales Manager - L’Oréal Professionnel

What are key highlights of this role?

 

The key focus of this role is the daily management and the motivation of your sales team across your territory in order to ensure, as a team, you are able to achieve the desired sales targets. The team includes 5-9 field based direct reports with responsibility for more than 600 direct customers and a business turnover in excess of £3 million. As Area Manager you are hungry to exceed growth targets and distribution expectations and you will thrive on assuming full responsibility for the day-to-day managements and mentoring of the sales team within this field based role.

Whilst also being directly involved in the management of the major accounts, you will be responsible for the following:

  • Achieve company growth objectives
  • Manage all company budgets in line with objectives
  • Develop and grow the business in line with PPD strategic focus
  • Lead and develop the team with regard to major account presentation and acquisition
  • Develop key customers to realise their full potential

Alongside proven successful experience in a structured sales role and exceptional people management skills you should be confident in demonstrating all of the following:

  • Team management within a sales environment
  • Commercial acumen supported by excellent negotiation skills
  • Confident in presenting and demonstrates the ability to convince others
  • Actively looks for new solutions, crafts new ideas
