The National Citizen Service (NCS) is a youth program specially designed for 16-17 year-olds. The NCS program was founded in 2011 and aims to give high school and college students a clearer idea of what they want to do in the future. During their time at NCS, students will learn a variety of new skills these skills will be extremely valuable when they come to apply for jobs in the future. How to apply to the National Citizen Service

What is NCS?

The National Citizen Service is a part-residential experience focused around fun and discovery. Individuals will complete 30-60 hours working on a local community project. The individual will choose this project with their group and work on it throughout their time at NCS. These teams will be diverse groups of 12 to 15 individuals, who will build a variety of work and life skills between themselves. During their time at NCS candidates will take part in exciting challenges, make new friends and contribute to their community.
